Daisy smashed her target of 26 miles and completed 41! Daisy has ran, walked, skipped, bike, hopscotched! As well as raising money, Daisy has used purple day as a reason for her school friends to learn more about Epilepsy as well as understanding her condition more 💜

This month I took part in running 26 miles in the 26 days up to #PurpleDay. I ended up running 38! I did this all for Alfie, my 2 year old son, who was diagnosed with Epilepsy in May 2023. Today Alfie and his school friends and teachers are all wearing purple to celebrate #PurpleDay!

Mollie, 12, from Hove, who has focal cortical dysplasia, busked on Purple Day, playing covers and some of her own songs inspired by her experience. Her friend Maisie, 10, who also has epilepsy and experiences absence seizures, and Mollie's brother, Lenny, also 10, shook buckets and talked to passers-by about the condition. They raised £236.39. Mollie said “It felt amazing to do something I love to raise money for such a great cause.”

My last walk today for #Youngepilepsy and #Embridgeconsulting , what an absolute pleasure it has been to be part of #teampossible. A huge thanks to all of my family, friends and colleagues who have donated and supported me. I have walked 65.18 miles. Its not too late, to donate :-)

It was fun and i enjoyed it we had special purple ay t-shirts on . everyone looked soo amazing. I enjoyed it because it means you can see other people in your local area that are going through what you are. Thanks to the Dorchester Children Epileptic Nurses for organising it. It was an amazing. Seeing other people was fun we even played a game of football because we had a football. To everyone with epilepsy don't worry it's not just you who is going through with it.
